Let us introduce
ourselves: Antwerp Flyer is an alumimium seagoing sail yacht with a
length of 27.5 m launched in 1991.
The naval architect is Ed. Dubois (U.K.) and the hull was
constructed by Chantiers Navals de Biot (Fr.) . The ship was
finished in Belgium as far as the mast is concerned , by
Witterwrongel Rigging (Blankenberge,Belgium) and regarding the
inside timbering bu Meys & Co (Willebroek, Belgium).
The ship is
excellently suitable to sail in Northern Seas . She already made
trips to Spitsbergen (North Pole)

SAILING
WITH ANTWERP FLYERA lot of people
dare to claim that going on the sea with a sailboat is one of the
most intense forms of recreation. The sea holds you firmly
in its grasp and the ship does the rest ....
ANTWERP FLYER is a
real sailyacht, this means that it has all the good qualities of a
sailyacht. She sails beautifully close to the wind, she is fast
and behaves very seaworthy, even in rough circumstances.
The ship is
well-equipped, also as far as the kitchen is concerned as well as
the nautical devices and safety equipment.

SPORTIVE EVENT
ANTWERP
FLYER is a real fitness centre on sea. Everything is done by
manpower. No electric buttoms to push, but healthy muscular
strength. If you want, you can get acquainted with the
sailing technics. Everybody, as from the real sailor bum to
the sun adict, will find something that suits him.
CULINARY
DELIGHT
ANTWERP
FLYER is equipped with a professional kitchen, a stove with 4 gas
beacons, an electrical oven, a microwave, refrigerators, a freezer
and even a deep-frying pan to bake french fries ! Only a
dishwasher is not yet installed. But doing dishes together
with some friends can be very charming....
COMFORT
The
ship is fully provided with a 24 volt and 220 volt net.
There
is also central heating on board.

FLYER is equipped with 21 sleeping berths, divided as follows :

front: a crew cabin with 6 berths, shower and toilet

spacious “captain’s” cabin with double bed, shower and
own toilet

independent cabines with 1 double and 1 single bed, all with
shower and toilet

pilote berth

for
those who snore very loud, are 2 separate snoring bunks
in the aft.
RECREATION
ANTWERP
FLYER has a spacious confortable sitting area, with a large table
for 14 persons. The saloon is equipped with a screen for
slide projections and a monitor with video device. Feel free
to bring your favourite video cassette...
NAVIGATION
The
ship is equipped with GPS , weather fax, radar, 2 compasses, and 2
steering devices, who can be operated both inside as well as outside.
The
large chart table invites you to follow the exact position of the
